Sessions last 50–60 minutes and take place in a confidential, supportive setting. You may be invited to use art materials as part of the process, followed by reflective discussion. The pace and structure are guided by your needs and comfort level.
For online sessions, you will need access to your own art materials. If you are attending face-to-face sessions through an associate affiliation or third-party organisation, art materials will be provided at the venue.

No. Art therapy is not about artistic skill or producing polished work. The focus is on expression and exploration rather than technique or ability.
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and circumstances. Some clients attend short-term work focused on a specific issue, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper exploration. This can be reviewed collaboratively.
Services are available for young people and adults. Group work and workshops can also be tailored for organisations, schools, or community settings.
All sessions are confidential in line with GDPR and professional standards. The only exceptions are where there is a risk of serious harm to you or others, or where disclosure is required by law.
Sessions are primarily delivered online via Microsoft Teams. Face-to-face sessions may only be available where a client is referred through an associate affiliation or third-party organisation and an existing office base or therapy room is already in place.
Art therapy is not a crisis service. If you require urgent support, please contact 111 NHS urgent mental health services or call 999 in an emergency.
